Our History.
The FuseMetrix Group was founded in 2002 by Matthew Ballinger, following a diverse career covering accountancy, IT, programming and sales as well as commercial experience in hospitality, retail and manufacturing. This broad background gave Matthew a unique perspective on business and has enabled him to conceive of a product that can encompass all business types using a shared module approach.
After two years of trading, Matthew recruited Dr Richard Irwin, a former associate he had worked with in London when working on a project for Yahoo!. Their shared vision for a browser based complete business solution gradually became a reality through an iterative release process. Since then, the product has grown from strength to strength finding niche verticals in manufacturing, leisure attractions management, insurance claims management, car rental, civil engineering and hospitality.
In 2022, Matthew Ballinger led a management buyout along with his family investment fund, to form FuseMetrix Holdings, which is now the 100% shareholder in the FuseMetrix Group.
Today the company employs in excess of 25 people, hosting, supporting and evolving the product to meet future business demands.
