Shortlisted for the Thames Valley Business & Community Awards!

Everyone in the FuseMetrix Group is delighted that our company has been shortlisted in two categories in the Thames Valley Business and Community Awards. We are finalists for SME of the Year and Matthew Ballinger, our director, has been nominated as Male Entrepreneur of the Year.

31st January will mark the launch on the annual Thames Valley Business and Community Awards ceremony, which will celebrate the region’s most ambitious, inspirational and exciting businesses, charities and individuals.

Among them are entrepreneurs who had innovated unique solutions to the problems they faced, put their heart and soul into making their industry better, overcome personal and professional hardship to triumph in business, and more.

This year, the standard of entrants was so high that the organisers shortlisted a record-breaking 88 for the awards across the award categories.

The Thames Valley Business and Community Awards judging process saw a range of esteemed entrepreneurs come together to scrutinise the finalists and select the short-listed nominees from the 150 nominations.

Christina Briggs, former Director of External Affairs at Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group was part of the judging panel and said: “Judging this year’s awards was tough. Every entry was of a very high standard and each one was unique which made the decision harder. I’m very proud of the quality of businesses that we have in this region and these awards give them the true recognition that they deserve.”

Alec Jones-hall, Director of Thames Valley Business and Community Awards said “We are proud and excited to be celebrating outstanding achievement across the region and rewarding those who are making a huge impact throughout the Thames Valley. It is also a time for the business community to come together, not only to celebrate the accomplishments of those shortlisted and the deserving winners of each category, but also to mark the fact that we all continue to play a vital role in the success of our region and that its future achievements will be built on the foundations we lay today.”

Nominees will gather in The Macdonald Berystede Hotel & Spa, at Ascot, on Thursday January 31st to hear the winners in 13 categories – and one being hailed Outstanding Business of the Year.

The main sponsor Paul Waite, founder and chief executive of Aspen Waite, said: “Aspen Waite is delighted to be sponsoring the inaugural Thames Valley Business and Community Awards, an area with a diverse range of ambitious businesses we are passionate about  supporting. We believe companies of all sizes deserve great advice - and those that strive to be the best should be recognised for their efforts. We look forward to seeing you on the evening.”
